Responsibilities
- Work on topics in perception and imaging science to support AR display technologies.
- Conceive and develop simulations of AR devices.
- Design and conduct psychophysical experiments to quantify image quality.
- Conduct user studies on benchtop testbeds and prototypes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design vision science studies.
Job Requirements
- In the process of obtaining a PhD in Vision Science, Computer Graphics, or related field.
- Experience designing and analyzing psychophysical experiments.
- Proficiency in scientific programming languages (e.g., Python, Matlab).
- Familiarity with imaging science or optical engineering preferred.
- Experience with psychophysics or vision science and human subject experiments.
- Experience with AR displays and hardware.
- Intent to return to degree program after internship completion.
