Responsibilities
- Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional partners.
- Publish research results applicable to Meta product development.
- Design and implement elastomeric materials for soft robotics.
- Synthesize, functionalize, and process polymer materials in the lab.
- Analyze material properties using various analytical techniques.
- Process and integrate new materials for testing in devices.
- Present research progress and results throughout the internship.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or has a PhD in relevant fields (Chemistry, Materials Science, etc.).
- 2+ years of experience in materials research (polymer synthesis, etc.).
- Experience with elastomeric materials development and integration.
- Hands-on laboratory experience in R&D settings.
- Must obtain work authorization for employment.
- Intent to return to degree program post-internship.
- Preferred: Experience in team environments and significant research achievements.
