Responsibilities
- Own back-end services for fleet management and front-end services like WhatsApp and Instagram.
- Write and review code, develop documentation, and debug complex systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and act as an escalation contact for service incidents.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on production code and systems used globally.
- Engage in capacity planning and manage urgent capacity needs.
- Configure and run infrastructure-level applications like Kubernetes and MySQL.
- Develop knowledge of web technologies and Internet service architectures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience with UNIX and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
- 2+ years of coding experience in languages such as Python, C++, and Java.
- Familiarity with Internet service architecture and capacity planning.
- Experience with web technologies and frameworks.
- Knowledge of infrastructure applications and configurations.
- Preferred BS or MS in Computer Science.
