Responsibilities
- Own back-end services for fleet management and front-end services like WhatsApp and Instagram.
- Write and review code, develop documentation, and debug complex systems.
- Participate in on-call rotation and act as an escalation contact for service incidents.
- Collaborate with top engineers on impactful projects used by billions globally.
- Develop capacity plans and manage urgent capacity needs.
- Configure and run infrastructure applications such as Kubernetes and MySQL.
- Engage in continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in UNIX and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
- 6+ years of coding experience in various programming languages.
- Familiarity with Internet service architecture and capacity planning.
- Knowledge of web technologies and service architectures.
- Experience with infrastructure-level applications and tools.
- Preferred BS or MS in Computer Science.
