Responsibilities
- Own and deliver complex, high-impact mechanical systems and architectures.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship, identifying and solving important technical problems.
- Work closely with internal and external partners to drive progress on complex projects.
- Drive projects through the full development cycle, ensuring alignment with program strategy.
- Seek ways to improve components, systems, and processes, championing best practices.
- Push state-of-the-art technologies to solve complex mechanical problems.
- Contribute to product or technology roadmaps and influence program-level strategy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 6+ years of industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical design and leading complex assemblies from concept to production.
- Expertise in 3D/2D CAD, DFM/DFA, GD&T, and high-volume manufacturing techniques.
- Proven experience mentoring other engineers.
- Preferred 8+ years in product design of high-volume consumer electronics.
- Experience with NX CAD and designing for human factors is a plus.
- Ongoing AI skill development and experience with ethical AI practices are preferred.
