Responsibilities
- Design humanoid robot components and systems integrating sensors, electronics, and mechatronics.
- Define mechanical aspects of PCB and flex PCB, ensuring robust interconnect solutions.
- Support prototype fabrication and builds, collaborating with partners.
- Conduct performance testing and failure analysis, including creating test plans and analyzing data.
- Collaborate with industrial design on overall packaging form and volumes.
- Work with cross-functional teams (EE, SW, Firmware) to deliver technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement improved designs.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering, particularly in consumer electronics.
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in designing complex electro-mechanical consumer solutions.
- Proficiency in CAD tools like SOLIDWORKS or Siemens NX.
- Familiarity with prototyping processes and materials.
- Experience in tolerance analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Ability to manage time-sensitive projects with evolving priorities.
