Responsibilities
- Independently manage and deliver medium-complexity mechanical assemblies or subsystems.
- Work closely with internal and external partners for collaboration on projects.
- Model, build, test, and refine prototypes and characterization test systems.
- Drive projects through the product development cycle from concept to mass production.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Innovate and push technologies to solve complex mechanical problems.
- Generate and manage technical documentation and communicate effectively across teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of industry experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in 3D/2D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, Creo).
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Knowledge of material properties and high-volume manufacturing techniques.
- Testing and analysis experience (FEA, Simulation).
- Preferred experience in end-to-end product design and manufacturing processes.
