Responsibilities
- Specification, design, prototyping, and testing of devices and products for communication devices and data centers.
- Collaborate with TPM, hardware, thermal, software, supply chain, and partner teams to meet project goals.
- Validate product performance using design and simulation tools.
- Conduct tolerance analysis, motion, and performance studies.
- Create prototypes and iterate design concepts quickly.
- Develop test plans and design test equipment for product verification.
- Work with manufacturing partners through the design-for-manufacturing process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in designing and shipping commercial products.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Creo or SolidWorks).
- Experience in cross-functional issue analysis and resolution.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience in data center system equipment design.
- Experience with AI/ML systems and environmental qualification testing is a plus.
