Responsibilities
- Define mechanical verification and validation methodologies for various systems.
- Perform verification testing for thermal, vibration, and mechanical stress.
- Develop and track detailed test plans for modules and systems.
- Design and implement scalable test infrastructure and custom mechanical test fixtures.
- Manage execution, interpretation, and reporting of verification and validation work.
- Conduct failure analysis, tolerance analysis, and gauge R&R activities.
- Manage external vendors for test fixture development and execution.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical systems verification and validation.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in defining verification and validation requirements.
- Proficiency with solid modeling software (Nx/SolidWorks/Creo).
- Experience with industry-standard test equipment.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive projects forward.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and programming experience in C#, Python, or LabVIEW.
