Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical solutions for prototype robotics structures and systems integration.
- Support prototype fabrication and build processes, including tooling design and assembly procedures.
- Conduct performance testing and failure analysis, including creating test plans and analyzing data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers to deliver comprehensive technical solutions.
- Engage in sustaining engineering by troubleshooting mechanical failures and implementing design improvements.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering with a focus on Machine Design.
- BS degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in designing complex electromechanical assemblies (e.g., robotics, automotive).
- Proficiency with CAD tools like SOLIDWORKS or Siemens NX.
- Familiarity with prototyping manufacturing processes and materials.
- Proven ability to manage time-sensitive projects and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Experience in tolerance analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
