The Hardware Engineer, Power at Meta will design rack power solutions for data centers, focusing on AC/DC and DC/DC systems to support infrastructure scalability. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure high-quality product delivery.

• Define and design rack level power systems for IT integration in data centers.
• Drive product qualification and ensure full test coverage.
• Review product development with external power vendors, including design and test report reviews.
• Review circuit/PCB designs and conduct calculations and simulations.
• Check test reports and manufacturing test coverage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product operation issues in the field.
• Contribute to the power system solution roadmap with cross-functional teams and vendor partners.

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics.
• 2+ years of experience in power supply design and AC-DC power conversion.
• Proficiency with design tools like Cadence, PCad, and PSpice.
• Experience in product bring-up and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Development of design specifications and test plans.
• Familiarity with rack level power systems and digital bus designs.
• Detail-oriented communication skills.
