Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for optical film components (D-film, L-film).
- Lead commercial negotiations with optical film suppliers to achieve cost targets.
- Establish and manage long-term supply agreements balancing cost, quality, and capacity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including optics engineering and product design.
- Drive cost reduction programs and manage NRE costs for new film development.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop business continuity plans.
- Stay current on optical film industry trends and partner with engineering teams for supplier specifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management.
- Proven track record in commercial negotiations and managing optical component suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in should-cost modeling and TCO analysis.
- Ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with supplier qualification processes and quality systems.
- Preferred experience with AI tools and understanding of supply chain risk management in semiconductors.
