Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of complex subsystems and own the development of simpler systems under technical guidance.
- Design schematics, evaluate components, direct board layout, and conduct design reviews.
- Manage bring up and debug processes, and support manufacturing and assembly builds.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop systems and manage trade-offs.
- Transform vendor reference designs into custom solutions that meet product constraints.
- Participate in recruitment and mentorship within the Meta community.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical field.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and experience with schematic and board design tools.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital test equipment and technologies like digital signal processing.
- Proven technical communication skills.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Experience in consumer electronics and mass production environments is a plus.
