Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of complex subsystems and own the development of moderately complex subsystems.
- Design schematics, evaluate components, direct board layout, and draft design documentation.
- Manage bring up and debug, and support manufacturing and assembly build.
- Collaborate in a team environment across various engineering disciplines.
- Evaluate vendor reference designs and transform them into custom solutions.
- Contribute to building and sustaining the internal Meta community through recruitment and mentorship.
- Travel both domestically and internationally.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical field.
- Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent.
- Experience with high-speed digital test equipment and digital signal processing.
- Proven technical communication skills.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, and experience in consumer electronics.
