Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of complex subsystems and own moderately complex subsystems.
- Design schematics, evaluate components, direct board layout, conduct design reviews, and draft design documentation.
- Manage bring up and debug, supporting manufacturing and assembly build.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop systems and manage trade-offs.
- Evaluate vendor reference designs and transform them into custom solutions.
- Work in a distributed team environment.
- Contribute to building and sustaining the internal Meta community through recruitment and mentorship.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical field.
- Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital test equipment and digital signal processing technologies.
- Proven technical communication skills.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and experience with high-speed signaling and consumer electronics.
