Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of complex subsystems and own the development of simpler systems under technical direction.
- Design schematics, evaluate components, and direct board layout.
- Manage bring up and debug processes, supporting manufacturing and assembly builds.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop systems and manage trade-offs.
- Evaluate vendor reference designs and transform them into custom solutions.
- Work in a distributed team environment.
- Contribute to building and sustaining the internal Meta community through recruitment and mentorship.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical field.
- Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital test equipment and technologies such as digital signal processing and mobile SoC.
- Proven technical communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and experience in high-speed signaling and consumer electronics.
