Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of complex subsystems and own the development of moderately complex subsystems.
- Design schematics, evaluate components, and direct board layout.
- Manage bring up and debug, supporting manufacturing and assembly builds.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to manage trade-offs in system development.
- Evaluate vendor reference designs and transform them into custom solutions.
- Work in a distributed team environment and contribute to community building through recruitment and mentorship.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical field.
- Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital test equipment and digital signal processing.
- Proven technical communication skills.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields, experience with high-speed signaling, and programming skills in Python or C/C++.
