Responsibilities
- Lead new data center product designs, integrating technological advancements and business priorities.
- Develop product controls systems strategies, design, specifications, programming, and support for new product delivery.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to optimize new product design for cost and efficiency.
- Conduct research on new technologies and materials to inform long-term strategy.
- Partner with Site Selection on site due diligence and master planning projects.
- Oversee change management and drive resolution of applicable systems.
- Manage team goals and track their status while aligning priorities with technical leads.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 15 years of engineering, design, and R&D experience for mission-critical systems.
- Cross-disciplinary knowledge of data center technical systems including mechanical and controls.
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills with various stakeholders.
- Experience managing large projects and teams.
- Familiarity with cost estimating methodologies for R&D projects.
