Responsibilities
- Develop concepts for new data center infrastructure solutions focused on electrical power systems.
- Lead all phases of design and development life cycle of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with technology vendors and consultants on electrical systems trends.
- Manage selection and procurement of critical infrastructure equipment.
- Evaluate and adopt new power technologies and develop detailed design specifications.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Hardware Engineering, Supply Chain, and other teams.
- Travel to vendor locations and data center sites for verification/validation testing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum seven years of hands-on design and development experience in electrical power components.
- Cross-disciplinary knowledge of data center electrical systems design and operation.
- Experience in designing and implementing protection & control systems.
- Proficiency in electrical power simulation software.
- Knowledge of electric power industry standards and building codes.
- Effective troubleshooting and analytical skills.
