Responsibilities
- Own and deliver complex mechanical systems and architectures from concept to mass production.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship, solving important technical problems.
- Influence internal and external partners to drive progress on complex projects.
- Manage projects through early research and development to validation and mass production.
- Improve components, systems, and processes while championing best practices.
- Push state-of-the-art technologies to address complex mechanical challenges.
- Develop test and validation plans for manufacturing and characterizing battery packs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of industry experience in mechanical design with a track record of high-volume products.
- Experience leading the design of complex assemblies and systems.
- Expertise in CAD, DFM/DFA, GD&T, and high-volume manufacturing techniques.
- Proven experience in providing technical mentorship to other engineers.
- Experience contributing to product roadmaps and influencing strategy.
- Knowledge of battery pack integration and related design and assembly techniques.
