Responsibilities
- Perform fundamental and applied research in embodied artificial intelligence.
- Invent/improve data-driven paradigms for robotics using various modalities.
- Investigate paradigms for delivering embodied behaviors in simulated and real robots.
- Develop algorithms based on state-of-the-art machine learning methodologies.
- Define, build, and benchmark new functionalities for next-gen AI.
- Conduct research towards long-term product goals and identify intermediate milestones.
- Plan and execute novel research aligned with organizational objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field; currently pursuing or completed a PhD in AI or related fields.
- Experience in robotics and related research areas such as reinforcement learning and motion planning.
- Preferred 2+ years of industry experience in relevant robotics research areas.
- Proven track record in achieving significant results evidenced by publications and patents.
- Experience with robot simulations and real-world hardware.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks and programming languages like Python.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally in teams.
