Responsibilities
- Perform fundamental and applied research to push the scientific and technological frontiers of embodied artificial intelligence.
- Invent/improve novel data-driven paradigms for robotics, leveraging various modalities.
- Investigate paradigms for delivering a spectrum of embodied behaviors in robots.
- Develop algorithms based on state-of-the-art machine learning and neural network methodologies.
- Define, build, and benchmark new functionalities for the next generation of AI.
- Conduct research towards long-term product goals while identifying intermediate milestones.
- Lead, plan, and execute novel research based on long-term objectives of the organization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of industry experience in relevant robotics-related research areas.
- Experience with robot simulations and real-world hardware.
- Proven track record of significant results through grants, fellowships, patents, and publications.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and Python.
- Must obtain and maintain work authorization in the country of employment.
