Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical packaging for electronic module assembly.
- Collaborate with Hardware/Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement.
- Participate in product concept design through to production release.
- Create solid models and drawing packages using SolidWorks.
- Support product verification testing (thermal, airflow, vibration, etc.).
- Draft test plans and inspection reports for verification and validation.
- Manage bills of material and engineering change requests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of Printed Wiring Board Assemblies design and processes.
- Understanding of heat transfer and thermal management.
- Experience with 3D CAD software, particularly SolidWorks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
