Responsibilities
- Drive reliability requirements across different subsystems.
- Collaborate with design engineers to understand failure physics and develop accelerated test methods.
- Design and build test setups for various loading scenarios (fatigue, vibration, temperature, etc.).
- Perform root cause failure analysis during testing stages.
- Prepare detailed test plans, execute tests, and analyze reports.
- Manage fleet analytics pipelines to identify and eliminate field failures.
- Lead design initiatives requiring detailed reliability testing and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Technical degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience in a reliability engineering position.
- Proven track record of defining reliability targets and test plans for consumer electronics.
- Experience in designing test setups for reliability testing.
- Knowledge of statistical tools like Weibull++ and familiarity with accelerated test models.
- Understanding of Design of Experiments (DOE) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
