Responsibilities
- Work on end-to-end design and manufacturing of parts and sub-assemblies.
- Fabricate prototypes and iterate designs for high volume production.
- Develop specifications and test plans to validate product performance.
- Conduct component-level testing for durability and reliability.
- Complete and release component designs and documentation.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create cohesive products.
- Establish relationships with vendors and suppliers in a startup environment.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Ability to commit to a 6-month internship, with potential extension.
- Demonstrated hands-on project experience in mechanical design.
- Foundational understanding of materials and manufacturing methods.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD modeling software.
- Working knowledge of GD&T and finite element analysis (FEA).
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and takes ownership of work.
