Responsibilities
- Own mechanical design and CAD development of test sockets and thermal heads.
- Participate in tolerance stack-up analysis to manage contact compliance.
- Develop compliant mechanical designs for socket manufacturing tolerances.
- Ensure precise alignment and mechanical stability in design integrations.
- Architect loading and clamping mechanisms for uniform pressure profiles.
- Perform manufacturing-focused tolerance and variation analysis.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supply-chain teams to define production processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with 3-5 years of experience or a Master’s/PhD with 2-3 years of experience.
- Strong mechanical design experience in precision hardware or semiconductor test infrastructure.
- Expertise in tolerance stack-up and compliant mechanisms.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (e.g., NX, SolidWorks).
- Understanding of materials and manufacturability constraints.
- Experience working with thermal engineers and fluid-based designs.
- Strong communication skills for leading technical discussions.
