Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams to deliver high-speed printed circuit board designs and optical systems.
- Define and initiate programs for next-generation hardware approaches in collaboration with business units and manufacturing partners.
- Manage designs for reference hardware supporting product teams.
- Develop methodologies and program plans for hardware system characterization.
- Document design guidelines for customers and manufacturing partners.
- Engage with customers to address urgent support requests and understand long-term hardware requirements.
- Plan for team growth and development based on market trends and product competitiveness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in hardware development for networking or optical communications.
- At least 10 years of management experience leading system engineering teams.
- Expertise in high-speed systems design and interconnects exceeding 100Gbps.
- Familiarity with photonics technologies and advanced packaging.
- Knowledge of mechanical design challenges related to high-density systems.
- Proficient in manufacturing and test cost methodologies and system reliability analysis.
