Responsibilities
- Familiarize with industry codes and best practices.
- Build critical thinking skills and understand the cohesive operation of engineering disciplines.
- Work on multiple areas of the refinery to gain broad operational knowledge.
- Develop project management skills to create project scopes, estimates, and schedules.
- Oversee design efforts and assist in the construction process as a project manager.
- Support the Maintenance Department through equipment-related improvements and troubleshooting.
- Find new technology in design, materials, and repair methods to enhance refinery operations.
Job Requirements
- Must be majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Strong academic performance is required.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
- Availability for multiple work terms is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Concurrent enrollment in a degree-seeking program is necessary.
- Military experience is a plus.
