Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers on new product development teams
- Develop and revise 3D CAD models, including parts and complex assemblies
- Prepare and revise fabrication drawings for sheet metal and machined parts
- Prepare and update Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Prepare product specification sheets
- Prepare quality assurance documents
- Create and maintain a drawing library in Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault
Job Requirements
- BS or on the path to obtaining a BS in an engineering discipline
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in product-related mechanical design and drafting
- U.S. citizenship required due to ITAR restrictions
- Understanding of engineering/mechanical principles
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of geometric tolerance requirements for manufacturing (ASME Y14.5-2009)
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor 2019 or newer and Autodesk Vault 2019 or newer (preferred)
- Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD 2019 or newer (preferred)
