The Mechanical Design Engineer will work on new product development, focusing on creating and revising 3D CAD models and technical drawings for various components and assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Work with engineers on new product development teams
- Develop and revise 3D CAD models for prototype and production applications
- Prepare and revise technical drawings for components and assemblies
- Create, perform, and review engineering change orders (ECOs)
- Prepare and update BOMs
- Prepare product specification sheets
- Create and maintain drawing and model library in Autodesk Inventor and Vault
Job Requirements
- BS in an engineering discipline
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in product-related mechanical design and drafting
- United States citizen required due to ITAR restrictions
- Understanding of Engineering/Mechanical principles
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor 2024 or newer
