Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision and development lifecycle for low-emission exhaust subsystems.
- Drive innovation in exhaust system technology, developing solutions for extreme temperature materials and emissions control.
- Mentor and guide a cross-functional team, fostering collaboration and best practices.
- Architect and execute validation campaigns to ensure designs meet performance and safety standards.
- Shape the technology roadmap for power generation and exhaust systems.
- Design for high-temperature and high-vibration environments, ensuring durability and reliability.
- Utilize 3D CAD software and possess expertise in materials and manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and technical leadership.
- Experience leading complex hardware projects in demanding fields.
- Strong background in thermo-fluid system design and structural mechanics.
- Expertise in acoustic analysis and emissions control systems.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, specifically Solidworks, and understanding of GD&T and PDM systems.
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, with the ability to anticipate DFM challenges.
