Responsibilities
- Design custom power electronics hardware for the Linear Generator.
- Bring-up, validate, and qualify power electronics designs.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware issues in various environments.
- Collaborate with production teams and suppliers for manufacturability improvements.
- Partner with reliability engineers to enhance hardware reliability.
- Serve as an expert on owned hardware systems.
- Communicate effectively across teams and contribute to collaborative efforts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
- 5 years of experience in power electronics technology development.
- Strong electronics design fundamentals and circuit board design experience.
- Familiarity with schematic capture and power converter simulation tools.
- Knowledge of power electronics control theory.
- Proficiency with electrical engineering tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, power analyzers).
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for hands-on hardware development.
