Responsibilities
- Design mechanical test fixtures using 3D CAD.
- Specify and validate components according to test specifications.
- Prototype using in-house 3D printers and machine shop.
- Verify test points and debug mechanical issues on the floor.
- Collaborate with external vendors for production-ready designs.
- Write clear documentation for team replication.
- Utilize AI tools in engineering workflows responsibly.
Job Requirements
- Rising senior or recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in at least one 3D CAD software.
- Hands-on prototyping experience (3D printing, laser cutting, etc.).
- Understanding of tolerance stack-ups and GD&T basics.
- Basic electrical/electronics knowledge.
- Familiarity with mechanical actuation methods.
- Some scripting ability for automation or data processing.
