Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify potential suppliers.
- Create RFQs and analyze quotations from suppliers to develop business recommendations.
- Negotiate contracts including parts pricing and tooling costs.
- Release parts into production and issue POs for Prototype Parts and Tooling.
- Manage supplier development timelines and part availability for production.
- Maintain supplier relationships and act as the point of contact for commercial issues.
- Travel up to 15-25% to visit suppliers for business reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, supply chain, or finance discipline; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality principles.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, ERP systems, and other tools.
- Ability to creatively mitigate unforeseen problems.
