Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes, and manages engineering projects within budget and schedule.
- Interacts with user departments to determine engineering functional requirements.
- Provides engineering design services and support during construction phases.
- Reviews contract documents and designs for compliance and quality.
- Manages project budgets and contract documentation.
- Coordinates projects with utility companies and governmental agencies.
- Provides guidance and oversight to engineering staff.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Master's preferred.
- Six years of relevant experience or three years of supervisory experience in engineering.
- State of California registration as a Professional Engineer desirable.
- Experience with public transit projects or major public agency projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
- Knowledge of engineering analysis, design, and construction practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks.
