Responsibilities
- Work within the Special Disciplines team and may lead a small Reliability team or project.
- Develop, coordinate, and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts.
- Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
- Evaluate preliminary plans and develop reliability engineering programs to achieve reliability objectives.
- Develop mathematical models to identify units, batches, or processes posing excessive failure risks.
- Propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.
- Determine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing and specify minimum sample sizes for valid data.
Job Requirements
- Experience with engineering analysis in Aerospace.
- Knowledge of reliability principles, practices, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with probability, statistical concepts, and mathematical modeling.
- Ability to engage with design teams to ensure alignment with RAM needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in reliability program plans, failure modes, effects analysis, and maintainability analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
