Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, test procedures, and automated test scripts for electrical tests on the Orion spacecraft.
- Perform test procedure and test script checkout in the Orion Test Labs.
- Execute test procedures on flight articles and future vehicles under Orion production.
- Collaborate with team members across systems engineering, software, test labs, and manufacturing.
- Prepare for and execute spacecraft or system-level tests.
- Write technical documents related to test engineering and operations.
- Utilize electrical ground support equipment and test equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on electrical, computer, or aerospace test experience.
- Knowledge of test engineering fundamentals and processes.
- Experience in subsystem/system electrical integration and powered testing.
- Familiarity with spacecraft commanding and telemetry monitoring software.
- Ability to work extended hours and travel as needed.
- Experience with Automation Framework tools and automated test scripts.
