Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, procedures, and schematics for mechanical tests on the Orion spacecraft.
- Understand the assembly, integration, and test flow of the Orion spacecraft.
- Execute test procedures on current and future flight articles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineering and manufacturing.
- Conduct acceptance and environmental testing of flight hardware.
- Support test efforts at various locations as needed.
- Maintain effective relationships within the team and lead in a collaborative environment.
Job Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance.
- Willingness to travel to different Lockheed Martin campuses.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with structural, environmental, or pneumatic testing.
- Familiarity with Mechanical Ground Support Equipment and fluid systems.
- Experience writing test plans and interpreting engineering documents.
- Certified Test Conductor (CTC) training is a plus.
