Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, procedures, and schematics for mechanical tests on the Orion spacecraft.
- Understand the assembly, integration, and test flow of the Orion spacecraft.
- Execute test procedures on current flight articles and future vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members including systems engineering and manufacturing.
- Conduct acceptance, environmental, and ground servicing tests of flight hardware.
- Support test efforts at various locations as needed.
- Work with structural, environmental, and pneumatic testing and Mechanical Ground Support Equipment.
Job Requirements
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a government security clearance.
- Willingness to travel to other Lockheed Martin Space campuses.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with structural, environmental, or pneumatic testing.
- Familiarity with Mechanical Ground Support Equipment.
- Experience writing test plans and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Certification as a Test Conductor (CTC) is a plus.
