Responsibilities
- Support Electric Propulsion Subsystem Integration.
- Assist in the conceptual development, requirements definition, and design of propulsion components.
- Establish qualification and acceptance test procedures and review supplier data.
- Work closely with propulsion engineers to ensure system integration and flight success.
- Perform trade studies to select appropriate design solutions.
- Develop product performance specifications and procurement documents.
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Experience with 1st order analysis in fluids, statics, dynamics, and heat transfer.
- Knowledge of mechanical CAD modeling and drafting.
- Understanding of mechanical and propulsion engineering principles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Familiarity with Fluid Mechanics and circuit design.
- Hands-on hardware experience.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
