Responsibilities
- Independently develop mechanical design solutions using solid models and detailed drawings.
- Review requirements to ensure they are incorporated into the detailed design.
- Collaborate with peers and manufacturing to meet program requirements and schedules.
- Contribute to achieving program goals by releasing accurate and producible engineering designs.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ensure familiarity with industry standards and federal regulations.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- Demonstrated understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Mechanical design and/or manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with engineering CAD tools (e.g., Creo, I-DEAS).
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and ASME Y14.5.
- Active Secret Clearance.
