Responsibilities
- Develop and provide mechanical design solutions using solid models and detailed drawings.
- Review requirements from various sources to ensure they are integrated into product designs.
- Collaborate with program leadership and manufacturing to meet program requirements.
- Participate in business capture activities for future programs.
- Ensure the release of accurate and producible engineering designs.
- Work closely with engineers and technical management for integration and design solutions.
- Maintain compliance with security clearance requirements.
Job Requirements
- Experience in creating 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of ASME Y14.5, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analyses.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and mechanical design principles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- Experience with product lifecycle management and collaboration across disciplines.
- Hands-on hardware experience and knowledge of additive manufacturing.
- Understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM).
