Responsibilities
- Independently develop mechanical design solutions using solid models and detailed drawings.
- Review requirements from various sources to ensure they are incorporated into the design.
- Collaborate with peers, configuration management, and manufacturing to meet program requirements.
- Contribute to the completion of program achievements by releasing accurate and producible engineering designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and federal regulations.
- Maintain good communication skills in both oral and written forms.
- Travel as required for the role.
Job Requirements
- Background in Mechanical Engineering processes.
- Experience with Manufacturing and ATLO.
- Knowledge of industry standards including ANSI, OSHA, and AWS.
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and ASME Y14.5.
- Working knowledge of EPDM.
- Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Space command media.
- Active Secret Clearance.
