Responsibilities
- Provide Design-for-Manufacture (DfM) input and transition designs from development to production.
- Evaluate designs for producibility and resolve technical manufacturing issues.
- Lead process validation activities.
- Conduct make-or-buy assessments for optimal customer value.
- Create and maintain Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOMs) and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
- Identify production risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Deliver manufacturing support to internal factories and suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Experience in Electrical Assembly, Mechanical Assembly, Machining, and related Manufacturing processes.
- Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
- Process improvement experience.
- Experience with government customers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
- Ability to lead and influence across cross-functional teams.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance.
