Responsibilities
- Develop unique battery designs from concept to production.
- Conduct mechanical design of high-voltage DC battery packs and modules using SolidWorks.
- Participate in design reviews and change control activities.
- Generate engineering design documentation and specifications.
- Support design issue resolution and pre-production builds.
- Conduct lab trials and experiments to inform design direction.
- Lead or assist in product validation and testing.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field, 1-5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling using SolidWorks.
- Creative problem-solving skills demonstrated in industry or academic settings.
- Experience in ownership of design projects.
- Hands-on abilities in machine shop skills or technical hobbies.
- Understanding of GD&T principles and mechanical fabrication methods.
- Basic knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting.
