Responsibilities
- Assist in the research, design, and development of manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate and maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
- Launch new/revised products, establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results.
- Analyze and source tools, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing methods.
- Conduct product/process analysis for cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Identify parts and tools necessary for achieving manufacturing goals.
- Perform tool design and re-engineering processes for improved manufacturability.
Job Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Computer Aided Design (CAD).
- Strong technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of workflows and procedures.
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments and manage competing demands.
