Responsibilities
- Assists in the research, design, and development of manufacturing processes.
- Coordinates and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
- Manages the manufacturing launch of new/revised products.
- Analyzes and tests various tools, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing methods.
- Conducts product/process analysis for cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Identifies parts and tools required to meet manufacturing goals.
- Performs tool design and re-engineering of existing parts for improved manufacturability.
Job Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD).
- Strong technical math skills and ability to analyze complex information.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
