Responsibilities
- Assists in the research, design, and development of manufacturing processes.
- Coordinates and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
- Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products.
- Analyzes and tests tools, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing methods.
- Conducts product/process analysis for cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Identifies parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals.
- Performs tool design and re-engineering processes as needed.
Job Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in computer-assisted design (CAD).
- Strong technical math skills and analytical abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant engineering applications and manufacturing processes.
