Responsibilities
- Create tooling drawings using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
- Collect data on “green belt” projects for Six Sigma.
- Analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing floor production problems.
- Produce production metrics and create display boards.
- Assist with manufacturing routing and update the quality system.
- Track rejection trends and corrective action plans in Quality Engineering.
- Follow 5S department procedures and maintain workplace organization.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 0-1 year of entry-level engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of relevant engineering applications and CAD.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a loud environment and comply with safety regulations.
