Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of bench-scale robotics and mechanical systems for automation.
- Design innovative pneumatic, electro-mechanical, and optical solutions for robotic workcells.
- Mentor teams in advanced CAD design using SolidWorks.
- Validate designs through rapid prototyping methods.
- Integrate mechanical designs with software and controls.
- Develop strategies for automating manual processes.
- Coordinate with external vendors for component development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience in automation.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD design and GD&T.
- Experience with requirement management and product lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing complex projects.
- Knowledge of motion control and mechatronic systems.
- Attention to detail in documentation and equipment management.
