Responsibilities
- Mechanical product design and development for the canopy lift system and other electromechanical systems.
- Independently manage parts and assemblies from concept through production.
- Select appropriate manufacturing methods for cost and volume targets.
- Develop and release 3D/2D data and documentation.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers.
- Plan and conduct testing at component, subsystem, and vehicle levels.
- Support the physical build of parts and assemblies at the factory.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant design and engineering experience.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, specifically CATIA.
- Experience in kinematics or machine design.
- Background in electromechanical system design.
- Proven track record of developing products from concept to production.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
