Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of complex, high-reliability electronic hardware for aerospace and defense applications.
- Translate high-level requirements into architectural concepts and associated low-level requirements.
- Document and present design performance and acceptance criteria in design reviews.
- Solve complex hardware problems through root cause analysis and impact assessment.
- Mentor and provide guidance to a team of skilled engineers.
- Engage in special projects that advance airborne electronics.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and design verification of products.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or M.S. in Engineering fields or Science.
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or regulated industries.
- Strong foundation in electrical engineering fundamentals, including digital and analog circuit design.
- Knowledge of aerospace standards and communication protocols.
- Proficiency in electronic design tools and circuit analysis.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a creative and analytical mindset.
- Familiarity with Jira & Agile project management methodologies.
