Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for hood and outerbody systems.
- Utilize Creo modeling software to create complex assemblies.
- Validate designs with internal and external organizations.
- Manage product creation process and support new product introductions.
- Collaborate with multiple PACCAR divisions.
- Maintain understanding of manufacturing processes related to hood and outerbody systems.
- Propose innovative approaches to design tasks and problem solving.
Job Requirements
- BSME or equivalent degree required; Master’s and PE/EIT certification desirable.
- 1-3+ years of experience in automotive or outerbody systems design required.
- Advanced proficiency in Creo or other solid modeling software required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles.
- Experience in product development and new product implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small team to timely objectives.
