Responsibilities
- Facilitate program definition activities with PACCAR teams to deliver cost-efficient solutions.
- Integrate electrical/electronic features into Kenworth/PACCAR vehicles.
- Manage engineering and project management processes to maintain schedule, budget, and functionality.
- Plan and track validation testing of components.
- Support product launch at vehicle assembly plants.
- Ensure quality and reliability of all components.
- Provide interface documentation to wiring design and mechanical design groups.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Experience in automotive wiring harnesses and electronic control modules.
- Ability to create engineering documentation and respond to engineering inquiries.
- Understanding of Design for Six Sigma and related techniques.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Previous design experience of parts and assemblies preferred.
