Responsibilities
- Design and release electrical and electronic components for heavy commercial trucks.
- Integrate engine and transmission electrical features into PACCAR vehicles.
- Manage engineering and project management processes to maintain schedules and budgets.
- Plan and track validation testing of components.
- Support product launch at vehicle assembly plants.
- Ensure quality and reliability standards are met for all components.
- Provide interface documentation to design teams and contribute to development procedures.
Job Requirements
- BSEE or equivalent engineering degree required.
- 0-1 year of experience in automotive or commercial vehicle electrical systems.
- Experience in the design of automotive wiring harnesses and electronic control modules.
- Proficiency in using Requirements Management tools and CAD software.
- Knowledge of heavy-duty truck safety systems and regulations.
- Experience in creating engineering documentation and responding to engineering requests.
- Willingness to learn new engineering processes and work in a team environment.
