Responsibilities
- Facilitate program definition activities to deliver cost-efficient solutions.
- Integrate electrical/electronic features into Kenworth/PACCAR vehicles.
- Manage engineering and project management processes to maintain schedule, budget, and functionality.
- Plan and track validation testing of components.
- Support product launch at vehicle assembly plants.
- Ensure quality and reliability of all components.
- Provide documentation to design teams and coordinate design efforts with other engineering groups.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 0-1+ years design experience required.
- Experience with automotive wiring harnesses and electronic control modules.
- Proficient in creating engineering documentation and using design tools.
- Understanding of Design for Six Sigma techniques.
- Ability to work in a team environment and solve complex technical problems.
- Knowledge of heavy truck assembly and components preferred.
