Responsibilities
- Perform assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
- Load system-level controller software.
- Conduct basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices.
- Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.
- Complete administrative tasks including timesheets and expense reports.
- Communicate with contractors or customers regarding job progress and issues.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in engineering or HVAC or other technical degree.
- Sophomore or higher status.
- Knowledgeable in the use of personal computers and applications like Excel, Word, AutoCAD, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- Energetic and driven attitude with good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
