Responsibilities
- Manage the substation and BOP electrical maintenance program, including required testing and inspections.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with internal teams and external contractors.
- Oversee the integration of PowerDB for managing electrical test records.
- Maintain relationships with maintenance contractors and develop new contractor relationships.
- Ensure the maintenance program aligns with NERC requirements.
- Review maintenance and testing reports for safety and compliance.
- Travel to sites to oversee contractor testing and train new engineers.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or similar major.
- 3-5+ years of work experience in electrical engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.
- Preferred: Advanced knowledge of three-phase power systems and NERC/ANSI/IEEE standards.
