Responsibilities
- Planning, executing, and reporting on priorities while reacting to changing priorities.
- Providing general production support for the assembly area as needed.
- Reviewing and editing manufacturing instructions for clarity and ease of use.
- Participating in the evaluation of upgrades for assembly.
- Troubleshooting issues related to quality and efficiency on the assembly line.
- Assisting in the selection and implementation of tooling and fixtures for machining and assembly jobs.
- Participating in the planning and implementation of preventive and corrective actions to reduce scrap and downtime.
Job Requirements
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience with Solidworks.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Preferred candidates are entering their junior or senior year.
- Good mechanical aptitude and hands-on mentality.
