Responsibilities

  • Planning, executing, and reporting on priorities while reacting to changing priorities.
  • Providing general production support for the assembly area as needed.
  • Reviewing and editing manufacturing instructions for clarity and ease of use.
  • Participating in the evaluation of upgrades for assembly.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to quality and efficiency on the assembly line.
  • Assisting in the selection and implementation of tooling and fixtures for machining and assembly jobs.
  • Participating in the planning and implementation of preventive and corrective actions to reduce scrap and downtime.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience with Solidworks.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Preferred candidates are entering their junior or senior year.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and hands-on mentality.
