Responsibilities

  • Support the design and build of primary structures, tanks, and mechanisms.
  • Assist in the design, analysis, and manufacturing of spacecraft hardware and testing equipment.
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to produce and test hardware.
  • Resolve technical issues with innovative solutions.
  • Take ownership of projects and work effectively in a team.
  • Apply principles of mechanics, materials, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
  • Learn and utilize CAD software and analysis programming tools.

Job Requirements

  • Completion or progress towards a degree in engineering or science.
  • Ability to work well in a small team and take project ownership.
  • Proficiency in basic mechanical principles.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and analysis tools like MATLAB.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Redondo Beach, CA.
  • Eligibility to comply with U.S. Government export regulations.
