Responsibilities
- Support the design and build of primary structures, tanks, and mechanisms.
- Assist in the design, analysis, and manufacturing of spacecraft hardware and testing equipment.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to produce and test hardware.
- Resolve technical issues with innovative solutions.
- Take ownership of projects and work effectively in a team.
- Apply principles of mechanics, materials, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
- Learn and utilize CAD software and analysis programming tools.
Job Requirements
- Completion or progress towards a degree in engineering or science.
- Ability to work well in a small team and take project ownership.
- Proficiency in basic mechanical principles.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD software and analysis tools like MATLAB.
- Willingness to work on-site in Redondo Beach, CA.
