Electrical GSE Engineer (All Levels)

Responsibilities

  • Own EGSE hardware through the full lifecycle, including architecture, schematic development, fabrication, integration, validation, and deployment.
  • Design, develop, integrate, and support electrical ground systems for engine testing, vehicle integration, and launch operations.
  • Collaborate with avionics, propulsion, software, test, and operations teams to deliver reliable systems on aggressive schedules.
  • Support bring-up, troubleshooting, calibration, and functional verification of EGSE hardware and interfaces.
  • Develop interface control documents (ICDs), schematics, wiring documentation, and engineering release drawings.
  • Ensure systems meet operational, reliability, and safety requirements for test and launch environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement of GSE design standards and integration processes.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience designing, building, and deploying EGSE or high-reliability electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical system design fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware integration, electrical testing, and system troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with aerospace and industrial communication protocols and networking.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced development and test environments.
  • Preferred skills include experience with CAD tools and knowledge of aerospace ground systems standards.
