Responsibilities
- Architect new in-space propulsion systems, collaborating with other departments for effective solutions.
- Hire and mentor propulsion engineers.
- Lead the development of liquid rocket engines and propellant feed systems.
- Manage the certification process, including customer interactions.
- Implement and improve team processes for excellent outcomes.
- Perform rigorous analyses and testing while maintaining development timelines.
- Resolve technical issues with innovative solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace propulsion.
- Experience managing and growing a team.
- Proficiency with liquid rocket propulsion systems and flow control systems.
- Ability to perform system trades and own technical decisions.
- Direct experience with development and flight qualification of spaceflight hardware.
- Hands-on experience with fluid, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
