Total Vehicle Evaluation Engineering Intern (Internship - Summer 2026)

This internship role focuses on assisting the Total Vehicle Evaluation (TVE) team with vehicle development activities, including performance evaluations of Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles.

• Assist with vehicle development activities within the TVE team.
• Learn from Comprehensive Engineers and other team members regarding vehicle development.
• Evaluate overall vehicle performance, including powertrain, ride and handling, NVH, brakes, ADAS, and human factors.
• Conduct subjective vehicle evaluations and identify potential customer complaint issues.
• Develop and execute joint evaluation test plans for benchmarking and prototype evaluations.
• Summarize media reviews and customer feedback on vehicles.
• Create and present technical reports and support additional development activities.

• Must be a mechanical engineering student with at least 2 years of automotive/dynamics coursework.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, preferably with junior or senior standing.
• Automotive background or experience is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication skills for creating and presenting reports.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
