The Project Engineer I role at Honeywell Sundyne involves supporting engineered solution orders for fluid handling equipment, ensuring projects meet customer specifications and are delivered on time. The position requires interaction with customers and internal teams and reports to the Mechanical Engineering Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and adherence to specifications.
  • Plan, implement, and provide updates on project statuses.
  • Review customer orders and technical specifications.
  • Oversee contract management and execution of project deliverables.
  • Create bills of material for pump and compressor orders.
  • Select supporting equipment and guide design/drafting resources.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings and documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of experience in engineering or technical fluid handling roles.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
  • Familiarity with API standards and concepts in the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
